Entry fee versus top prize payout

Sorry for all the posts about open tournaments!? ? (Please bear with me)

Hopefully ALL clubs can benefit from this poll, and hold opens that will attract more boats!

It depends!  For me if I am fishing with a partner that I have to pay for both anglers (One of my kids)  then a lower entry fee is what I would be looking for. 

I am our clubs tournament director and have wonder this same topic.  Could I increase our entry fee and still bring in the numbers of boats.

I like team tournaments to be a little more towards the fun side of the scale myself.
