Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Well just returned from a week long vacation on the chain of lakes in Atrim county.  Had a blast spending time with my wife and daughter, and also waking up every morning at the crack of dawn walking down to my boat and fishing.  I ended up fishing intermediate lake 90% of the time after hooking up with a nice smallie on a drop shot.  All I can say was after that I was hooked on trying to find more smallies on that lake.  I generally fish for largies due to where I live and it is also what I am confident at but after this trip I think I fine tuned some of my smallie skills and had a blast catching them.  The only other time I went to lake to target smallies only was this spring during the Madwags and was not successful with hooking any smallies that day but enjoyed the day talking with everyone and getting some pointers.    So it is now official I have a smallmouth and dropshot addiction!

I hated drop shop when I first started with this technique, but felt that in order to be a good angler I needed to make sure it was part of my rotation.  I truly didn't take long to see why drop shot is so effective.  I now prefer to fish with a drop shot whenever possible, and really enjoy trying subtle changes and variations to see which way works best.  Welcome to the drop shot club...enjoy the increased catch ratio.
