Well, I am in a round about way the owner of the #2 mini stock Saturn that runs at Owosso Speedway. My good friend and coworker ran there for years in the street stock and modified classes and now his 11 year old son, Alex Donnert,  is driving. He is a really good kid and a good driver racing against adults. Saturday is fan appreciation night at the track and there is an autograph session. I will be there and would be glad to see other grassroots racing fans there too.

Let me know on here or by PM if you are going to be there. Remember the pits open to everybody as soon as the last race is done.
Edit: forgot to add that we have an 89 Toyota Corolla ready to race for sale. Or if you just want to race for a weekend it is available for rent too. Also another friend has a turnkey mod for sale, it is running very high in the points and is a fast car. I can get details if anybody is interested in an open wheel car with around 600 HP (not sure what motor he is running).

Overall it was a great night! Alex set fast qualifying time, won the heat race, and won the feature! When I was 11 years old I sure wasn't doing this!

If I can EVER teach Kentucky PHIL how to use his computer for more than turning it on and off... I HAVE to hook you two up!! He made me listen to some crazy race on the way home from Wonderland Open that not only had car crashes... but shoving matches too!

He kept saying, "ya'll be quite now whilst I listen to the race..." I asked him why everyone hates Jeff Gordon... and he finally enlightened me... it's because he's @#$@#% good!!! And he's from Calyforniuh... and them good ol' boys don't take kindly to being whupped by someone who isn't a good ol' boy hissef...

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
