Fishing this lake on the weekend. I heard it's a small bowl. Any suggestion on baits to try or structure to look for? Never been on this body of water so it should be interesting.

I haven't been there in years, but from I what I remember lots of weeds and relatively shallow, with some deeper holes.  There is a sunken island that may be a good place to check out.  There is also one cut that has some nice slop to fish also, its not very big but I did catch a few nice ones up in there.  I would try chatter baits and spinner baits around weeds and soft plastics Texas rigged and also beaver style baits with a slip sinker.  There are also pike and dogfish in there that may want to take you baits.  Good luck, have fun and let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the help. I came in 4th. The fish we caught were buried in weeds and we had to jib and worm them out. Weighed 13.5lbs.
The biggest bag were 17lbs.

The fish we caught were 3 lbs fish with 5 lbs mouths. They looked huge in the water but their bodies needed to bulk up!

Thanks again!
