Since blade baits are really jigging tools - yo yo - I'm wondering if the fish will hit the blades too often and you'll miss hookups because of that. Interesting idea!

These were not made for vertical jigging... Just wanted a spinnerbait to actually look more like "food"

Have you had a chance to try them out on some willing test subjects?   Any luck?

Yes.. 2 boats fishing on Lk Erie in nasty weather... I caught the most and the biggest bass from these baits. I fished equal time with 3 baits... I caught 6 bass, and all on these baits. Nothing on the other 2 baits. BTW... I beat them all from the back of the boat.    6 fish was nothing to brag about though.

That's cool.  Burning or slow rolling?  Do you fish em any different than a spinnerbait?

I was fishing them at a medium speed. Just casting and retrieving like a regular spinnerbait.

Interesting. I like blade baits whether they're blade baits or spinner'blades'
