I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Our new club is having a take a kid fishing day, (tournament)  on July 1st.  We are having kids sign up and have limited it to 25 kids because of the size of our club.  We are having awards and lunch after they are done fishing.  All kids will get something,  we have been taking donations and have some sponsers that are donating food for the event.

The event is going to be on Ford Lake in Mason county from 9 til 12,  with lunch and awards after.  We have been working on this for some time and we are really excited about it.

We would like to give a fishing rod to all the kids,  plano has offered us starter kits for a very small price,  I don't think we have it settled yet as to what we are for sure doing but the kids will all get some stuff to take home.

We are anticipating a great turn out.

spinninbug - I split this out for you into a new topic - will help make it more clear that there are two different events - for parties who might be interested in one verses the other.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Thanks Dan!

We had our club meeting last night and I posted the wrong date,  it's going to be june 30th instead of july 1st.

Other than that everything seems to be in place.
