The poorly written, damaging to Michigan Sport Fishing commercial fishing bills have been introduced again. State House Bills 5801 and 5802, introduced by Rep. Dave Prestin and Rep. Jason Morgan, have been assigned to the House Committee on Natural Resources and Tourism.

This is a tale of two lakes. Intertwined lakes, in Barry County, Michigan. Where somehow the water has gone away. Upper and Lower Crooked Lakes, both near and dear to me, are suffering from the lowest water levels I've seen in the 35+ years I've been fishing them.

Does anybody know of any open team tournaments this Sunday, other than the Federation Classic Series on Charlevoix? There are none listed on the calendar here or on lsc.net.

I went to Roy Randolph's site but I didn't see the tournament calendar.  Did I just miss it or did he not put one together this year?

Any help would be appreciated.

Those arent opens though.  Willie, I didnt see any opens on Roy's list.  The list was still up as of last thursday so you may have just missed it.

I dont have any scheduled on my calander and havent heard of any.  There is one on Saturday but I dont have it in front of me and cant remember.  Man I am lost without my Outlook Calander.

Thanks for the replies. I did find Roy's list through the link here. If I read it right there is an open on Ford Lake hosted by Midwest Sportsman. We might hit that one. My buddy is still undecided.

Call first Willie. They cancelled the one on Belleville last Sunday. Might save you a trip.

Thanks for the heads up. We will be heading to Sanford instead to pre-fish for the TEAM BASS open next Sunday. My buddy got the green light to go this morning.
