5 Michigan college bass fishing teams qualify for the FLW Invitational at Potomac at August's event in New York. 2 from MSU, 1 from CMU, 1 from WMU, and 1 from NMU all placed in the top 15 of Lake Chautaqua's event.  Also a team from Northwood qualified this year so 6 of the 45 teams at the Northern invitational will be from Michigan.

How was the fishing? I've been there once. It's an odd lake at first but it has some Huge smallies and muskie too.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Fishing was amazing.  Huge algae bloom but there were a lot of 5+ lbers caught that week!  Dock's were fun and there were some good community holes.  I would recommend anyone to make that trip if they have the opportunity
