Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Just before the October Natural Resources Committee meeting on Thursday, October 9, Commissioner John Walters added an amendment to Fisheries Order 206 – “Bass - Closed bass CIR season from May 1 – Friday before the third Saturday in June for Burt, Mullet, Crooked, Pickerel, and Black Lakes and their connecting waters.”

 hey guys whats up? well i see that everyone is on the same page with this deal.  i dont think that we would need to start up a new tourney trail for this, i do like the outlaw deal and will fish some. bbt is a good circut to fish i think.. theres good money to make, the fishermen are there. they pay back pretty good id like to see a little better but oh well. 1javelin your fishing the bbt this year for the first year? we should hook up sometime im pretty much gonna be up in the muskegon area all summer long. im fishing bbt shoreline and bass anglers united so im booked up. hope to meet up with ya i always camp @fishermans landing in fact im leavin in the am for there... im stoked. gonna fish muskegon tomorrow and then hit white for the next 2 maybe Pentwater too. good fishing too all.-skeeterman-

Well Skeeterman it looks like we will be neighbors for the summer. I'll be at the landing for Top Bass, BAU, and Super Bass. If you notice a black and gold Nitro stop in for a cold one.
