Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Going to be staying in Dearborn for a few days for a work trip week of May 19th. Have evenings off and would like to go hit up LSC after my training. What would be the best launch to get to LSC quickly? I'm thinking something on the northern part of the Detroit River or southern LSC. Anyone know of any good ramps in those areas? Going to be fishing the mile roads mainly maybe Windmill Point as well. Staying just off 12 in Dearborn. Thanks for any help!

Its not close to where you are staying, but the best launch to access the areas you would like to fish quickly would be the 9 mile boat launch at 9 Mile and Jefferson in St. Clair Shores.

Would I be better off going to Erie? I've never been on Erie except as a co - angler in last summers Everstart. Have no idea where to go to find fish and it can be pretty nasty out there. It would probably be easier and quicker to get to Erie from Dearborn.

guess it depends how far you want to go in the boat or the truck. the wyandotte ramp is decent/safe on the river.

Got Fish??

Hello dude, if you put in any where on the river. Your going have to dodge a lot of walleye boats , before you get to Lake Erie.  Erie metro park is the place l would put in. Lake StClair is the same  trip in miles! Nine mile or StClairShores. Hay you came all this way. What's a couple miles.

If you have a Recreation Passport you can put in for free at the Clinton River Cutoff and start fishing just a little ways South. The only thing that would make it real rough is a strong easterly wind. If you don't know Erie or the Detroit River real well you might do better in a limited amount of time on the Mile Roads.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
