I decided over the winter I was going to take a crack at making my own jigs. Took me longer than expected, but here's my finished product. I think they turned out pretty good for my first try. Poured em, painted em, and put em together.

Nice Work! Wish I had the patience to do that myself. How long does it take to finish a batch? I really like those Green Pumpkin colored jigs.. Good Stuff!! You should think about selling some

Thanks! Im pretty happy with how they turned out. Can't wait to try them out! They didn't really take that long to put together after I poured the jigs and got them painted. I struggled with the powder paint at first, I had never worked with powder paint before. I got a little frustrated with it. But it was definitely fun. I really enjoyed it.

They look good.  Looks like a football jig?

I started making my own a few years ago.  Mine are more of a swim / flipping jig.  This year I bought the blades and made some Vibrating Jigs.  ( chatterbait )  looking forward to trying them out.   You will like it when you catch your first fish on a bait you made.

Thanks Dartag! Yes they are football jigs. I use football jigs all the time. I'm planning on getting a mold for flipping jigs next. It was fun to put them together. Can't wait to hook up for the first time on a jig I made. Probably going to take them to a private pond this afternoon and see what happens.
