You will love your Bird, smooth operating and the price you got was a deal deal if any of you other guys are looking for Bird's of any size an are members of TBF you can purchase thru them at a great price, also MK Trolling Motors. Rigging a new boat soon I hope and price was unbeatable.

Buying another bird for my Ranger this spring.   how do I check the price and buy through TBF.

HB Has some very good units, but doing your homework before purchasing helps a lot. I went from Eagles to Hb units. Love my HB's but as Captain Charlie stated, sometimes electronic manufacturers put out a product and have not worked out all the kinks. HB's were giving people problems because of wiring, grounds etc... They also misled you on info about Ethernet, interlink and what the units were capable of doing. It's gotten so that you must be computer savvy so as to know how to work the gadget. The manufactures are not sending out enough reps to give us training either. I've attended a few seminars, one at Wonderland and another at D&R and I'm still in the dark about a few things.
