Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

I'll have to agree with McCarter on this one, I dont know if I've ever hit the water without atleast one jig tied on...with the exception of the great lakes.

Chase, you learned about tubes from the back of my boat, watching me catch enough to cash a check, not to mention the conversation about your line choice. ;D

LUMBERLEO

I have to go with Senko's for largemouth probably pumpkin.  Although I have been using Dinger more and more I think I might go that way this year.

Snack Daddy St clair Special for smallmouth.  I have used them all over and smallmouth will not turn away from them in any color water.
Even the brown water in canada.

For largemouth I like the white pearl strike king zulu with a red #4 wide gap hook fished weightless. And for smallmouth, I like the war eagle spinnerbait( cole slaw ) color.

bshaner

Largemouth - You just cant beat a senko weightless.

Smallmouth - Carolina or Texas rigged hula grub.

Well for largemouth id say the numbers would be a 323 senko, but for quality you cant beat a jig.

now for the smallies ill have to agree with LGMOUTH an erie darter will smoke a tube any day but hey lets keep that between us we dont want the whole world fishin them now... ;D -skeeterman-
