Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Genie

No one has complained in a while... I wondered if people still 'enjoy' it. I'm working on an upgrade that may allow me to block everyone from seeing that in latest posts. Maybe. Possibly.

I want it more for new content people are looking for (visitors and potential new members). I don't have time to add much news myself anymore for awhile now so it lets me add new content that some people are actually looking for and read. Just not everyone. No way I can make everyone happy but I did look at ways to allow people to choose to ignore news posts. Unfortunately, in this version of the software, there is no easy way.

I like Genie's suggestion. Visit more often (twice a day works fairly well) and there aren't so many new news posts. I've thought about ending them but they do attract new people and visitors. If the new version of the forum lets me block them for everyone from latest posts I will keep them. I don't know yet exactly when I will get the new version of the forum (and whole website) done.

Sorry. Glad to see you visiting. Thanks.

I could do without all the News posts, but I realize I'm getting all this great content for free.  I really can't complain too much.

I only come here to read what posters are saying not the BASS feed.  Just a minor inconvenience.

Personally I like the news feeds....can keep updated with all the news on one site!!!

Yeah, I find myself glancing at a few storys in the news posts. It's better then watching the real news lately.

If I can hit 50/50, I think I'm doing pretty good. Someday, I will start on 60/40... then! Lookout!!!

I really do care what people think. I have plans. Just slow for the past couple seasons. I think I need to go fishing a little more. More fishing = better work (maybe... can't hurt to try!)

In the new version of the forum software, I think members will be able to choose to ignore or not ignore, and that may be where I leave it. We will see. Thanks for being a member to all of you!
