Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Everyone,

There is a Veterans fishing event coming up June 8th on Hardy Dam Pond and they need boaters.

http://hookinupheroes.com/index.html

This is a great event and a great cause.  We all get to fish in a free country because of these men and women that fight for our freedoms.  Please if you are open that day and can spare a few hours consider helping out.

Here is the contact info http://hookinupheroes.com/contact.html

Thanks,

Cy

I guess I need to get more people posting more often besides just reading. I know a number of members always help out at this event. Eric did every year. I would assume he still is?

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Dan, I'd love to help out but I work weekends.  My schedule is great in that I get the water to myself during the week but it stinks in this type of situation.

Yessir.  Eric's still around and will be there.

Yeah, we can't all volunteer (I won't have my boat back yet, though soon I hope) but maybe pass the word along, share the posts on your social networks - I always like to see GreatLakesBass.com people doing that. I've passed along information of some of the various activities people can help out at. Every little bit helps. I know lots of you care and help out with various activities. You're a great bunch of people!

I too like being able to fish some weekdays. I pretty much like any day I can get out! :)

Glad to see and hear it! I know you've been busy busting strange cars up while going around in circles or something. I didn't think that would keep you from making some room on your schedule for important things.

A reminder to anyone posting a scheduled event - after you create the post look down below for the LINK TO CALENDAR tab link and use that to create a connection on the forum calendar. That can help people look things up by date and also feeds other parts of the website making it easier for more people to find out about things.
