I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Dan,

We realize the time, effort and expenses that you put in to giving us place to talk about bass fishing, meet new people and "get the word out".
We know that you are passionate about the sport of Bass Fishing, and we really appreciate everthing you do.

Because we know nothing like his ever comes for free and that every little bit counts. We recently put a little "charity event" together to help support the things we are passionate about too! Great Lakes Bass.com

Trying to organise this on your website while making it a surprise was not the easiest task, but... I think we succeeded.

We were able to raise $160.00 to help pay for all the expenses that you incur, and hope that it will help keep GLB going!

From all of us at GLB, we want to THANK YOU!

You guys and gals are going to make me cry... there's no crying in bass fishing?!?

I don't know what to say. Thank you so much for being such great people and friends.

You make me want to keep building and improving things because I want you all to keep coming back to see what great and wonderful things you'll do next for fishing and fun and learning and sharing - showing everyone else what anglers and just plain good people are really like. Thank you so much. I can't say that enough.

We had it at my house.  It was the Poker game.  We are sneaky like that.

I'm in, like Team Houston - tell me where and the check's in the mail.

I figure it like this - if I had been at the POKER GAME - my donation to the cause most likely would have been - who knows ??? ???
Look past what they want you to see.

Twas a good time and the dogs were good also.
Remember you don't quit fishing when you get old, you get old when you quit fishing

I will be at the Wonderland deal, so maybe I can give it to someone then?  Also maybe when that DK open happens a nominal entry fee, say $5 could go for this websites  expenses also?

I had fun donating my portion to GLB, and the rest to the winner.

I have joined a lot of online websites dealing with fishing and I must say that this one tops them all. I enjoy the topics, news, meetings and the knowledge. Dan, I must also commend you on a great job. This site has a great group of people. I hope in the upcoming year I find time to see more of all of you and to share some great fishing stories..Peace...Mike Huston

I wouldn't mind donating a little money too.  I have joined a bunch of sights like this and this is the best one.  I won't name any names but on other sites if your are not a regular and ask a question no one responds.  I have had a lot of questions answered on this sight without the "da didn't;t you know that."  We were all new at one time or another.(No such thing as a dumb question)  Living in Grand Rapids is like living on a island, no one here tournament fishes.  I do not understand the big disconnect with fishing over here???
Dan, I commend you on your knowledge of the sport.  You read the article's, you know the biology of the fish and the lakes.  You have assembled a great team of moderator's that are always willing to help.  You are diffidently a leader in the Business of bass fishing.

You have pledge just tell me when and were.

Thanks,
Scott

Count me in for some cash or my time whatever works best...

First off I would like to also thank Dan, he's been great help with answering questions and i am very glad something like this is at my fingertips. I agree with Team Houston about the DK open, i know there has been some talk about it, maybe the winner can donate back the money to the site to help Dan out and keep our site running? Just a thought. If my team were to win, my money is going to you Dan for all your help. Thanks again.

Ryan

All I can say is Dan, you're the MAN!!! 8)

Thanks for creating and running such a phemonenal site.  I have learned so much for you and all the other members on this site and have also had a lot of laughs.  I make sure that I check in on GLBass.com each day so I don't miss out on any important information or fall behind in reading posts.

Thanks again Dan and hopefully I will see you at the Lansing Fishing Show.

Durand Dan

I donate all summer long. Another $20 bucks won't be missed. Were do I send it?

djkimmel

You all make the work (a lot more fun than my day job, kind of therapeutic) well worth the effort!!! You also provide a great deal of the information and entertainment. THANKS!!!

I'm continually excited about seeing how far and how good things can get. Lots of plans. Lots of good stuff to come.

I want to be sure I get in on the plaudits as well and will send in my donation to whomever is collecting. Just let me know an address. I wouldn't know what to do if I wasn't checking this forum three or four times a day. It's mental health. Hey maybe my insurance will kick in some cash as well. I too, have seen Dan in action at hearings that I have attended where he's been involved. IMO he's the reason there is an early season for bass in Michigan!!!!

Dan

Hey LumberLeo,
No man is an island.... I too am in Grand Rapids and I fish tournaments. Maybe we should talk.
