Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

I would just like to thank Dan, Pat Kleppert and Dave Simmons for coming to our club meeting and discussing the benefits of the TBF.

I had asked our President to give them 10-15 minutes to give their presentation and perhaps answer any questions.

One hour and 50 minutes later, we had exhausted almost all of our questions.

End result... some of our oldest members, scorned by the division of the "Federation", saw a light of hope.

Thanks again Gentlemen!!!

Thank you Josh for giving us the chance. I will send the information shortly electronically for your club if you decide to choose us.

Nothing definite yet, but David heard what your members had to say. He will taking some ideas back to FLW Outdoors after the show that may give us some of the opportunities that your members asked about much quicker than we could get them while we are building our new federation.

I'll be talking about some of the ideas with him and Pat over the next two days. If something comes from it, I would get with your club as soon as possible.

This is why I love our new partners. They are bending over backwards to help us be successful. They are not saying no to anything. At worse, they offer alternatives and we go from there. They have said yes to a number of things we've asked.

The Bass Federation of Michigan is a different federation - we are working hard to make sure it is the kind of federation anglers want to belong to.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
Unless clearly stated as such, opinions expressed by Dan Kimmel on this forum are not the opinions or policies of The Bass Federation of Michigan.
