Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Does anyone know of a Tournament Series in Mid-Michigan (Lansing-ish area) besides the NBAA? I've noticed a large lack of tourney's around here. Any info would be nice, Thank You!

Waterfoul

Probably because of the lack of lakes around Lansing.  I know there used to be a club that fished Jordon and Morrison... Wolverine Bass or something like that.
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!

That's what I was thinking but there are actually a lot of good lakes around here Ovid Weber Dam etc. and there's a large amount of people here that want one but I don't see anything around here. It really makes me want to do like one Open tourney to get an idea of the people around here.

I think the River Rats are still around? They usually rotated around Lake Lansing, Ovid, the various river parts. VinceR might know the latest on them next time he pops in if he sees this. I still hear about a number of tournaments around Lansing including NBAA so I know they are happening. I'm just not good with details if someone doesn't write them down or post them on here.

Did you search the forum for Lake Lansing, Lake Ovid and Grand River Lansing tournament? I know some have been posted in the past. That could probably lead you to some of the guys who are still holding them.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
