 are these rods any good? looking to get a new spinning rod and saw these for 99.99. are the bps extreme rods just as good? thanks ..karol

I can't comment on the BPS Extreme spinning rods, I haven't owned one in a long time. I do have a couple TFO spinning rods, model FWS 664-1. They are 6'6" medium power rods, extra fast action, I think. They are very light, well balanced and have a very good finish. I have only used them a few times, no more than 3 or 4 times. For me, for what I bought them for, [ds and shaky head],  the action is a little too fast for a medium power rod. I like a slower action rod for those technics. But that's just me. I bought them two years ago and I don't think you had a choice on the action at that time. I don't know if that is still true.

Still, I am very impressed with the fit and finish and the overall quality. They "feel" right.
