Bigshow the big guidewear sale is on according to new Cabelas  winter sports catalog i received in mail today. $100 off each piece.

I just called Cabelas because i bought 4 weeks ago when sales price was only $50 off. They couldnt match but will give me $50 gift card. I could have returned and rebought but happy with gift card.

I also receved two Cabela tourney trail fishing rods free when i purchased  my guideeear which will make nice panfishing rods. They are valued at about $55 each according to catalog. Very happy.

Maybe i'll go check that out. I hate when they say they won't do a price adjustment. I've done the same thing. Just tell them, would you rather me return it and rebuy it? doesn't make sence. The gift card gets used though

Guys I purchase Cabels Guidewear in 1989 for $387.00 I think, worn in many a time but started leaking at the seat and shoulders last year. I did the treatment from Cabels and helped but still leaked. On my last trip to St. Clair stopped by Cabels and went to customer service. No Problem Sir, we can give you a credit of $268 due to you don't have a receipt. OK who keeps a reciept that long Picked out a New Set of Guidewear and paid $140.00 darn Son thats service on a 22 year old rain suit. Never ever buy anything but Guidewear!!!

You got a good point Rangerman. I was at customer service a couple weeks ago and saw someone do the same thing with some cabelas brand pants. They gave him credit. Can't beat it..

I had a similar experience at Bass Pro with my Pro Qualifier jacket several years ago (several years after buying it).  No problem, go pick out a new jacket.

I've been using Valvetec for years now.  But from the tests I've read and the comments I get from my customers Stabil Marine works very well also.

I see the adds for valvetech. I use stabil in every tank and double for storage with a full tank
