I bought the new Trophy Bass 2007 Personal Computer Game at Bass Pro Shops last week.  I have been a long time player of Sierra's Trophy Bass 4.  There are very distinct differences from the Trophy Bass 4 (TB4) genre versus the new Trophy Bass 2007 (TB07) genre.  The new TB07 is not as mouse driven as TB4 which makes it a bit more difficult to play.  Although all the keys and mouse movements are explained once the game is loaded, TB4 is much more user friendly and easier to play.

TB4 is not made for XP, however, I did get it to work with my XP.  TB4 also can be used to have tournaments on the web as TB07 does not.  TB4 offers many more lakes than TB07.  TB4 has Lake St. Clair.  TB07 does not.  TB07 tallies your career winnings.

This is just a few of the differences.  If anyone has any questions, feel free to reply to this post.  I will answer all I can.  Overall, for a mere $19.95 I would still recommend it as there has not been any new Bass Fishing Tournament games out for the PC in a very long time.  Originally TB4 was $40 when it first came out.  TB4 is probably only available on Ebay.  TB07 is also available for XBOX.

I heard the new Rapala game is supposed to be pretty sweet.  I played the old one and it was absolutly terrible.  Maybe they got it right this time.

I used to have trophy bass for the puter.  it was a fun game.
