I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

You want to learn to fish a jig here is what you do.  Just got back from 3 days on Canadian lakes.  All I took were 2 jig rods with 30 lb braid and a 17 lb floro leader.  Fished a 1/2 oz jig for all 3 days.  For trailers I used Chigger Craw, Paca Chunk and Stirke King Denny Brauer chunk.  All in Green Pumpkin and none seemed better than the other.  I caught over 40 bass with at least 3  5lbs or better.  Wish i had taken my scale.  Caught a lot or 2-4 pounders. The bass were shallow feeding on blue gills.   Fish a jig for 3 days and you will figure it out and be hooked.

Now i want to go back

Are you talking about the Canadien Lakes near Stanton, MI?

North of Stanton west of Mt Pleasant.  Got a friend with a cottage there.  We go up every year and fish while the ladies go shopping.  This year the weather was not the best but the fishing was unreal.  He has a pontoon so you just drift and cast.  The other guys fish for pike with spinners.  I flip a jig.  This year the bigger bass were shallow feeding on bluegill.   Wish I could take my Ranger but you have to be a property owner to have a boat on the lake.  I did find out they have lots for around 1000.00.  I may look into buying one so I can take my boat to fish.  Thursday the whole lake system is no wake so that would be a great day to fish.

I think Eric lives just south of there.
