Belleville opener?

OK, went to South Street Tackle to look for tournament fliers.  Sadly found it went out of business.  Too bad, great little shop.

So I'm getting desperate; opener is Saturday & I don't know of a tournament at Belleville.

Anybody have any details on an opening day tournament there?

I know there is one going out of the belleville dnr ramp the morning of ill make some calls and check for ya. In years past it went out of Sandys

Breaking Water Bass Club always does an opener on Belleville (starts at 6am). It is normally out of Sandy's, but looks like it will be out of the DNR launch this year. Here is their link to website:

The Breaking water on the 27th is a Sunday; I'm looking for one on Saturday.

Ohhh crap!!!! You're right, it is on the 27th..... They always do one on opening weekend (Saturday)... If anyone finds out if one is going on, please post it.

OK, got the low down thanks to Mr. Laporte:

6:30 AM blast off.  $80 per boat; don't know if that includes big bass.  Eight hour tournament.  Belleville DNR ramp.

Don't know what group is holding it.  Don't care.  Tournament bass fishing is a big tradition at Belleville; you can usually expect a pretty big turnout.  Love to see lot's of you there...
