Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Okay, I bit for another $27 and ordered some Pro Soft Bait Glue. Anybody ever heard of it or used it? I subscribe on my ipod to a free podcast call Bass Champs. On one of the programs they interviewed the inventor/owner of the company and he said it was designed especially for soft plastic sinko type baits. Suppose to be way better than super glue. Not suppose to dry up as fast yadayadayada. I ordered their tournament special. Comes with several bottles two types of applicators etc. Should get them this week. I'll have to do a product review and get back as soon as I try it. He claims it is scentless, bonds instantly, bottle won't dry up like super glue does, and it's tough. We'll see.
On another note I have begun throwing a chatterbait, no fish yet. I have also started to drop shot some and I'm liking that technique. I really learned a lot of great tips from the Seth Burrill video. Again, I get nothing for plugging this and only mention it because it is really good. Covers every aspect of the technique from line, knots, baits, special secrets, to specific applications. Has a separate disc included that just shows him fishing with it for a variety of species.
While I am rambling, I have an article on our tournament on the Torch chain on the teardropbass.com website. If you're club is looking for a spot for a fall classic we found a great campground on Elk that is nice, has a double ramp better than the DNR Skegemog ramp and can park 40+ boats.

I have heard a lot of good things about that glue. That guy is on another bass fishing board where I go and he has explained all of the differences between his glue and the others and it sounds really good. I have not seen any locally so maybe I should just order some.

I used the glue this past weekend and it does repair senkos. I also used it to repair a rubber gasket around one of my compartments and it really worked on it as well. Bonded very fast, too fast actually. It does leave a little white residue on the senko but it bonds quick even with the senko being wet.  I only opened one bottle and you seal it with a push pin inclosed in the package so I am anxious to see how well that works and if it dries up fast like super glue.
