Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

We are having a bowling fundraiser this coming Friday to help raise $$$$'s to offset the medical costs to help treat my 5 months old daughter condition. Josie was born with Apert Syndrome and has already had one major surgery when she was 3 months. Her first surgery, cranial advancement took place in May. The surgeons removed 2/3 rds of her skull and reshaped it to allow her brain to grow and replaced it. Her next surgery is in Sept, the doctors will fix her cleft palette. After that is done, she will a succesion of 5 or 6 hand surgeries to release her fingers on both hand, about one surgery every 6 to 12 weeks. We are fighting with the insurance company to allow us to see a hand specialist in Lousiville , KY. The doctor here in Detroit just wants to "Take Care of a few finger" aka remove!. This doctor has not done many Apert hand surgeries, they are very complicated, thats why we want to travel to KY.
Youi can find out more about the fundraiser at www.josie.bigwaterbass.com and more on Apert Syndrome at www.apert.org Her site on Apart is www.apert.org/dowd/index.html

Thanks,

Mark, Kellie, Brendan and Josie Dowd

I am truly sorry for your situation there - really hits home as I have 2 special needs kids myself, although not to that degree.  I cannot make the event Fri, but send me a pm with your address, and I would love to support the cause.  also, look up the crippled children organization in Michigan, as they have helped a few folks I know with financial aid for surgeries through the kids teenage years if necessary.

I dont know if i can make it or not, but where is it and at what time just in case.  Also, if you give me your mailing address i can send out a donation.

Maybe we can do a fishing event to help raise some extra cash as well.  Let me know, i have some connections.
