We went out last Friday and fished some new spots in the south channel while waiting for boats to leave from by the firecracker. We did pretty good getting about 8 fish in the first hour that weighed 2.5 to 3 pounds. Then we noticed the boats had left the firecracker so we headed over there and the same time we pulled up so did another guy.
I made my first cast and bang about a 2 pounder. My next cast I threw over a little past the tower and the other guy threw a hissy fit, I couldn't believe it. He yelled at me and told me not to cast over there anymore and to stay on my own side. I just told him no problem, I didn't want to start anything we were just out there to have fun.
Well we proceeded to give the guy a schooling on catching smallies out there. Every drift we made past the tower one of us would hook up and we even had a couple doubles. I think it put the icing on the cake when I got my biggest smallie to date a 6 lb. 8 oz toad. We couldn't believe it. After that the other guy threw his rod down in his boat and took off. We never did see him land a fish the whole hour we were there and we landed at least 20 between 2 and 3.5 Lbs. and that big toad "can you say carma." All in all it was a great summer evening on LSC.

I hate when people think they own the lake.  The best part is you whacking all those fish in front of him and he not getting anything.  Just goes to show you................

Unfortunately no pictures my phone battery died earlier that day (darn work couldn't get a hold of me if they needed to) and my brother-in-laws phone was locked up and wouldn't let him do anything because it was roaming into Canada. I didn't want to keep her out of the water too long and mess with his phone so I just let her go. At least I did have a witness there with me. Neither of us had ever caught one that big it was awesome. Catching all those in front of that guy while he wasn't getting anything just put the icing on the cake. After he left we couldn't stop laughing about it.  :D :D :D
