Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Due to the fact that I bought a $500 Tournament Stage Backdrop and won't get to use until Oct. 8th I figured we would try and throw together another event this year to get some use out of it.......

Since the Kickin Bass was cancelled this year I'd like to get some feedback from some guys to see what you would think about doing a "New Kickin Bass" on August 13th out of Muskegon or White.

Format would be $100 entry with an additional $20 Overall Big Bass Pot.  $50 of each entry would go towards Big Bass payouts at 9am, 10am, 11am, 12am, and 1pm.  If we could get 50 boats that would $500 payouts for each Big Bass each of the above hours.
The other $50 of each entry would go towards overall weight payouts (7am-3pm).  Basically the same format as the original with a fewer minor changes.

Any interested in something like this because it's a shame to waste an excellent date for a tourney?????

And of course this event out of Muskegon or White would Open to all connecting waterways - if you can get there without getting out of the boat than it's fair game!

We can talk more later but here are a couple thoughts.

1.  The 13th is kind of a bad date.  Bob O has a frogs only event on Ovid that day.  It is also the day before the RDT on Muskegon, so the numbers will be down due to prefishing.  Maybe the following weekend?

2.  I think it should be on the Grand, just cuz it always has been and there are enough things on Muskegon and White.  I might be the only one but I like fishing the Grand.

3.  I like the idea and the cost is right in line.  I think an extra $20 per boat for overall big bass.

4.  It should probably not be call Kickin Bass, we wouldn't want to get in trouble with The Fox.

Anyone else have any thoughts?
