can anyone tell me where maggies landing is?

1 block south of Penn high school turn west, go past AM General & Wayland marine and you got it.
Look past what they want you to see.

skeeter45

hey thanks.  Is it prettygood for smallies?

djkimmel

Never fished there but they have some decent weigh ins at times for smallmouth and largemouth bass.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

I live within a couple miles of Maggies. I'm only going by hearsay, because I rarely fish the river, but I believe most of the tournament guys target largemouth now. The largemouth population has really increased over the years.   Just like other places the zebra mussels have cleared the water some. ( I still think it's dingy  !!!)  And because of that there is a lot more vegetation. It is pretty decent for smallies though.

The fire department puts on a charity bass tourney out of Maggies.  It's going to be held Sunday August 21st if you are interested.  60 boat limit. Message me if you're interested.
