The drug violence along the border is really scary. It is truly a war zone down there.

Texas has alot of lakes with 13 lb+ bass, don't give up. Lake Fork is my personal favorite.

Lake Fork is on my todo list!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

I have a friend who frequently fishes Falcon. He is a Michigander working down in South Texas. Actually he crosses the border to rep for plants here in the states. I've asked him about the violence down there and he says he use to go out of his hotel and walk around as he traveled in Mexico from plant to plant, but he tends to stay in his hotel more. He's planning on fishing Falcon again this winter. There deer season opens Friday so after he gets his fill of hunting he'll be back in the boat.

I've heard Falcon isn't that dangerous, more people die on St. Clair so I guess we should stay off of there too...

People die from gun shots on Falcon Lake.  The only ones that die on St. Clair are the drunks that fall overboard during Jobbie Nooner.
