Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Just got done watching last weeks FLW show on Lake Chica what ever. And was wondering what setting to use on a the Humminbird models I listed to be able to see your line on your graph like they showed in a couple of clips from the show. They were using a Lowarance so I don't know if that matters. but for 1000 and 3000 dollars I better be able to get mine to show that. Any help out there to explain this would be greatly appreciated.
Your either getting better or worse you never just stay the same

Hard to answer quickly, but yes, you should be able to see your bait with these units.

I can see my drop shot and weight with both my Lowrances and my 998 HB's.

You can't use the "auto" setting as they come out of the box.  You must change the settings for each conditions.  Turn on switchfire and set the depth range manually to start with.  Turn up the sensativity until you see the right amount of detail.

switchfire will do it - also, you can try setting your transducer beam to 200khz only. This will give you a narrower (20*) cone angle. i think there is a split view that shows 83khz on 1 side and 200khz on the other.
