I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

EBA members ...................(and you "too cool" to be an EBA member wanna-be's and you know who you are !  ;D )

So lets admit it, we are a bunch of loose fellas. Kinda the "Average Joe's Gym" of the fishing community. And we are all right with that.

We had a rookie moment last week and I want to be the first to take responsibility and apologize to those put off members for some of the last minute proposals. We all should. A 'second that motion' happened instead of squashing it by our top guys. I furthered it with a poll. I think the Lake St Clair fever took its toll on us and none of us remembered: Hey we are going to LSC on MAy 8th !!! Real men can admit when they are wrong (so long as they take steps to fix it) .......... Soooooooo, I have four items I want us to talk about at our next meeting. Topics are:

Schedule change rules solidified

LSC inked as our standard Bass Season Opener

No more public polls

Building our own website

The last I will chat about because we have been given a golden chance to have our own website, for $10 a year from Len B. I am willing to pay for this years fee. We can have a page by year so we can upload pics from each lake, and keep notes of what we learned from each lake / give tips on our next lake. We can have a "Big Bass" page / hall of fame, keep records and pics of those golden club moments. It will give us a place to log our boaters and non boaters and ensure we arent chasing boaters at 10 pm the night before. We can have a calender page so we all can see the club fishing dates, meeting dates.  Do you guys think we need this kind of structure ??? Will you even participate if the website is built ?  I was told to check a few other websites made by Len B:

I agree with Len that this is a good way to draw and solidify our good natured club. We ARE a bunch of good guys and deserve a robust club. So lets think about it and table the web design idea til the May 10th Monday meeting. Speaking of events - here is our MANS BRAIN calender of events:

May 8th LSC
MAy 10th CLub meeting
May 15th DK Open
May 22nd LSC

Everyone in the club post which events you will be at as a boater and as a non-boater. Lets use this thread to solidify our next month......
Thanks Dan for bringing year round Catch and Release to Michigan

Hi Guys,
Correction to above: Basic sites I've put together are www.downriverbassassociation.com and www.michiganbassfishingtour.com . These are examples of $10.00 per year Google hosted sites that will do everything would need at minimal expense. All I need is input from the club as to what you guys want as far as logos, graphics, color schemes etc.... Find some sites you like and let me know their addresses for ideas.
For pages I would recommend: Home, About Us, Photos, Event Schedule, and any other you guys want.
I would also keep using this site (Great Lakes Bass) for our forum since it works very good and is well established.
