Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

The meeting for the EBA has been changed slightly due to the response of some of you.   All interested parties are encouraged to attend.  Newbees, oldbees, and wannabees.

Date: January 30th (Saturday)
Time: 1:30 P  - 3:30 P
Location:  Gander Mountain (Novi) Lodge room.  Located on Novi Rd. across from Twelve Oaks Mall.

I signed us up for the room today.  It is really large.  They have a TV and Video player in there also.

I also spoke with a couple of the employees and they gave me a few names of individuals  that may be interested in holding seminars for/with the club should we choose.

If anybody would like to still meet at B dubs prior to the meeting let me know I"m up for that.

I still don't have many email addresses.  Tom, I think you may have the most complete and up to date list.  Would you mind sending out the info?  I'll send to the guys I have, but I'd rather someone get notified twice than not at all.

I haven't heard much back.  I don't know who's coming for sure.

That's ok.

Nobody said that they wanted to meet for lunch, so I'm not planning on that.  I will be at Gander Mountain at 1:30.

Anybody that wants to feel free to attend.  We are, as you can tell, a very informal group.

We will be picking this year's schedule of events.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

My son's birthday party is Saturday afternoon - so I don't think I can make it.

I am ok with whatever schedule you guys pick.  I will fish the ones that don't conflict with tx or prefish.
