I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Fellas,
I am in the planning stages of making a trip up to LSC on the weekend of June 5,6,7th and need some advice.I have fished there twice out of the Algonac area but it was in the fall both times.Am looking for an affordable place to stay that would be ok with charging the boat and is safe.My boat is a 17'Bass Tracker w.a 25hp motor so I have to keep it somewhat close.A hotel/motel is option #1 and camping another option.Obviously the weather plays a role on the where to's and such.Could be awhile after this trip that I make it back up cuz my girlfriend and I are expecting!Hard to believe that I've made it 36 yrs. without one but am pretty jacked :o...Any advice on the smallies and the green bass would be outstanding and much appreciated.I do have Captain Wayne's books on LSC and own a hanheld GPS if that helps.
Thanks to all,
Aaron

Rock and fish...thats what I do!

fear no fish

Camp at the Algonac State Prk. It is on the St. Clair River and you can watch the big freighters go by. Lake access is just down the road at the North Channel DNR launch.

Eric

I was there last weekend.  I fished in Anchor Bay 4-6 FOW or so from in front of MacRay around up to the point just north of the Salt River.  We did the best kind of in the corner by the air base and to the east of there.  Chrome n blue rattle traps and roadkill smallie beavers.  The next day we fished the mile roads from in front of the 400 club apartments towards the nine mile tower.  We did the best in frot of the big blue seawall closer to nine mile.  Same baits.  If the wind is not nice to you, you can fish in the canals that go off the lake and catch tons of largemouth.  I would recommend launching at Selfridge to fish anchor bay and crocker road to fish the mile roads.

I am by no means an expert on LSC, but will share what I know.  If part of this doesn't make sense, call me and I'll try to explain better.
