Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

I understand there's a few boats and more non-boaters than boats, but the main reasons I need to cancel this event are on me. I need this weekend for computer work and maintenance jobs here at home. I'm going fishing tomorrow to my favorite spring lake, but I'm not fishing every day as rumors may have it. I just like this time of the year the best, and it was a loooonnngg winter.

I don't expect other people to try to run an event so I can't be there, I can't run it. Now any of you who still want to go fishing there, please do. I heard from one member before I posted this that he has his boat ready and is going anyways. Might be an opportunity for someone else to get out too. He'll post if that is so.

I'm sorry I didn't announce earlier, but thought I might be able to pull it off. I recently finished to bulk of work on a new website for a city, and a multi-thousand person club website I thought I lost has come back, and they want lots of changes. When I'm not fishing, that's about all I'm working on, with my other website clients and their usual. Need to do it. Got bills to pay.

Just isn't leaving me time to get on my own websites. Something I already have a few people reminding me, but other peoples' websites have to come first. I don't expect to be this busy next year, though it's good for my bills if I am. You never know, but if I can get back to working on my own websites once in awhile, this event can come back, as always though with some help from those of you who stick around and keep doing the good things you do. Which I DO appreciate greatly! Thank you!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
