Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Anybody know of a restaurant that serves frog legs?

Somewhere around the Canton-Wayne or surrounding close cities.

I've been wanting to try some for God knows how long....

Firefighter Jeff

Hmmm not even sure where Canton or Wayne are located, but there is a place in Manistee Michigan that sells them.  Place is called the "Bungalo" on the south end of town. Mmmmmmmmm good.

matt

Ouch,that's a ways out there.

I'm closer to the Ann Arbor area.

Cheetam

Maybe Deadwood Bar and Grill in Northville?  I don't know if they're always on the menu, but you could call.  They are on Northville Rd between 6 and 7 in Northville.

Catch your own!?! I did that a couple times when I was just a youngster. A long time ago... long time ago. Probably hard to find some bigger frogs nowadays. Plus, there's a season. I'm not even sure when that is?

Okay, probably easier to get them at a restaurant... ;D

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Thanks for the suggestion jcheetam,I'll check it out.

djkimmel,I haven't seen a frog yet in the 7 years that i've lived here.Except one toad.I wouldn't even know how about to clean the frogs even if i was able to catch them.

Firefighter Jeff

Frogs are easy to catch.  We used to put just a little chunk of night crawler on the end of a cane pole to catch them.

Senate Coney Island...South Lyon...just saw an ad in last Thursdays South Lyon Herald.  Went something like..."All you can eat fish and chips or frog legs"  I think it's only $9.95 with the coupon...perhaps Fridays only.

That's all I remember...can't find the paper right now...already done to the recycle bin.  Good luck.

If you catch your own...just pull off skin, chop legs off at the hips, chop off feet parts, dip in batter (the legs not the feet parts!), deep fry.

Skulley

I go to the Senate all the time.  The owner George is a good friend of mine.  He has them on the menu on Friday's only.  The Senate is located on Haggerty Road between 5 and 6 Mile Roads on the west side of the street where the golf course is.  That is on the Northville side of Haggerty.  I don't think there is a Senate in South Lyon, I believe the South Lyon paper is advertising for the Senate in Northville, however I could be mistaken.  Give them a call.

There is a Senate in South Lyon.  It's in the strip mall on the corner of 11 mile and Pontiac Trail.
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.
