Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Anyone got any cool fishing paintings/prints hanging up in the house/cabin/garage?

I just bought my 3rd Al Agnew Limited Edition signed and numbered print.  Im a huge Agnew fan.  I bought the first when i was 17 or 18.  I think it was $160 back then and i just checked the other day and the "market value" was between $325-$385.  Not that i would ever sell it, but i was surprised to see that it actually appreciated.  I didnt know that prints did that.

Anyway, back to the point.  Just wondering if anyone else gets into that sorta thing.  And if so, whos your favorite and what you got?

Like i said, i have 3 Agnews now.  I have Quicksilver, Strike King, and i dont know what the other one is, but its old.  I think it goes back to the 70s.  I actually inherited it after my wifes uncle passed away.  He was a big fisherman and he and I became good friends in the short time i knew him.  I need to get a new frame for that one and get it up on the wall in honor of 'Herbie' aka uncle Jim.

I have 1 Agnew. It might be the same one you have on the bottom. I can't remember now (it's upstairs).

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

I am a big Agnew fan too! Quicksilver was the image that got me into Agnew's work. Unfortunately the only place I could ever find it online has a price tag of $400. I have Strike King, Trouble, Sunlight on Bronze, and my newest favorite All that Glitters. I am actually looking around for some info. I pre-ordered the new one and when I received it I found the number at the bottom of the print to be 1/150. I think I got #1 but I want to find out.

I make my own. These are made of wood with no stains, just the natural colors of the wood.

Dude, those are amazing!  I'm pretty good with my hands, but I couldn't begin to touch that.  Wow!   :o

I don't have any prints, but I do have quite a collection of outdoor items I'm gonna use for display.  Among other things, several old level wind reels, a couple of square steel trolling rods, and several lumbering tools including a two man saw.  I've also got a few antique lures, including several rapalas from each decade they've been made.  One of my most interesting items is a pike spearing decoy, had painted in brown trout.

I'm pretty lucky, the wife had decided we need to redecorate.  She's also decided she likes an outdoor theme throughout the house... ;D

Here are a couple my Mother in law made. The Musky was for my B-day, and the Cardinal for my wife and I for christmas. The Bird is a print, and the Musky is an original (though it is based off a picture-simply because she didn't even know what a Musky looked like)
