I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Just before the October Natural Resources Committee meeting on Thursday, October 9, Commissioner John Walters added an amendment to Fisheries Order 206 – “Bass - Closed bass CIR season from May 1 – Friday before the third Saturday in June for Burt, Mullet, Crooked, Pickerel, and Black Lakes and their connecting waters.”

NBAA Super Big Bass Drawing this Weekend –



This Saturday, February 21st  from 1-4 pm NBAA will be on hand at the Auburn Hills Bass Pro Shops.  During this time NBAA will be signing up members and going over exciting details for the upcoming season.  Also, you'll want to stick around for the always anticipated Super Big Bass drawings, where one lucky angler will win a new quad from Arctic Cat.  Last year's grand prize winners were on hand when their name were drawn – Dave & David McGlaughlin from Fenton, Michigan.  Not only will one lucky angler win a new quad but several other lucky anglers will when cash and prizes in this Super Big Bass drawing. 



NBAA will also be doing drawings for the 2008 Angler of the Year contests.  Special Angler of the Year contests include Auto Value, Humminbird, Poor Boys Baits, Scent-Lok, Minn Kota and More! 



And don't worry if you you're not in any of these great contests.  NBAA will also be holding special drawings for anglers that show up and sign in at the NBAA booth.  For these special drawings the only thing you need to do to win is be present at Bass Pro Shops this Saturday.  Prizes for this special drawing will include prizes from Minn Kota, Humminbird, Bass Pro Shops, and more.
