I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Does anybody know where i can take a rod in to get the tip replaced?
I broke the tip off my favorite spinning rod and i have no clue how to repair it and really don't want to take the chance to do it myself on a somewhat pricey rod.

I broke a e21 edge promo rod,so i can't just take it in to replace as they don't make these.

I apologize if i got this thread in the wrong place.

Can anybody help me out and point me in the right direction?

if you're talking about actually reattaching the broken length of tip... i think you're SOL. if you just need a new tip guide, then no big deal.

yeah, just a new tip guide. I know i ain't going to be able to replace that broken tip.

Know where i can take it somewhere local to get a new tip guide put on?I'm in the canton/wayne county area.

Matt.

I have tips and glue and would be happy to replace it free of charge.
Takes maybe 3 seconds.
You can purchase tips at most any tackle shop in various sizes. You may also use a medium CA Glue, or any hot melt glue to attach the tip. Very simple process. Trim the broken tip flush. Rough the area to be glues with sand paper, fit the tip to make sure it is the right size, apply glue and tip. Align tip with the guides before it dries. If you mess it up, heat with a lighter and remove. Start again.

What's with the news these days on the TV and the radio. Can't find the truth amongst the lies. Some talking head that claims to live their life in a better way, says I have to compromise. But now there's something on the rise. Truth has opened up my eyes. There's no running from your dirty lies. You can't avoid the truth. I'll no longer close my eyes.
