Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

I was currious if anyone had fished Worster Lake at Potato Creek State Park in NW Indiana? And if so, would you have any tips about fishing this lake? I"ve been to that park many times, but never fished there before. I do know there are two boat ramps, and that it is an electric moter only lake.

I live in LaPorte,In which is about 20-25 minutes from there. Ive fishes it once this year. We have a wednesday night circut around here that goes there. That place can pump out some toads but this year has been SLOW! I think it took like 3.5 to win the tourney thats sad. we caught alot of fish on traps and stik worms. if your going there key in on the little cove next to the Cemetery boat launch. its a flippers heaven. pick a tree and go to town. Im not a big fan of lakes in this area in general!! i cut my teeth on them and learned how to fish like so many others but its not a great place to fish!If you need any more info let me know and ill give you my # and tell you some more info.-skeeterman-

Thankyou Skeet. I appreciate the info. Over here in Porter County, the fishing has also been really slow. I'm guessing the weather this year has a lot to do with it. I've fished Pine and Stone Lakes several times. There is some pretty good fishing there if your there on a good day.

This time of year, launch at the east ramp. Turn to your right and go to the back of the cove north of the cemitary. Maple road crosses the lake in the back of the cove. Fish spawn on the old road bed. You can see where the road enters and exits the lake (north and south). Also try along the picnic area to the east of the beach.
