3/8 and 1/2 oz... 4/0 hooks with 60* leg regular eye. I hope to try these out soon on StClair and Erie...

Firefighter Jeff

They look great Mike.  I'm partial to something similar but with rattles.

Thanks... I have made them with rattles, But never saw any benefit in our clear water. I question how much rattling is done while dragging on the bottom.

Look good.  Last fall when I cleaned my boat my Jig box was looking ugly so I tossed everything.  Probably won't be going to St Clair or Erie the rest of the year so I won't need any.   Be sure to post us some photos of your catches.

Same here... I've gotten completely away from using rattles for a long time now in my soft lures... but I may experiment some this year on some darker water lakes.

I tend to move my lures a lot so I imagine I get some rattling though it is probably very fine a sound but maybe that is all it needs. I can recall years past in my tournament days when the water was churning and not very clear that it seemed like sometimes the rattle made a big difference in the number of bites?!? At least, everyone was convinced and using them a lot. I like to try things to this gives me another thing to play with this year when it seems worth trying. Just in case...

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Zona is a big fan of cracking tubes with heavy weights! Of course, he catches a ton of bass doing it! I've seen him kick butt doing this a number of times! I fish mine similar quite often and love snapping tubes (and other minnow/craw imitating baits)! Keeps me from getting bored as much and sometimes it really catches them fast!!
