Mark for Easter #5

Last entry for these Easter reflections from Mark.  In the morning, I will be speaking at my church about Jesus' walk down the road to Emmaus.  Sometimes Jesus is so off of our radar that He can be walking right beside us and we don't even perceive it.  My greatest hope is that Easter won't just pass people by.  I hope and pray that people will have their eyes opened to the reality of Jesus this Easter...that He will become more than a story or a tradition.  For it's only by having our eyes opened to see who He is that we can ever come to truly know Him.  Once those eyes become opened, it rocks our world and we're never the same again.  Here's to opened eyes...
