Bass Cat tops again 2/17/2006

For the second consecutive year, Bass Cat was given the J.D. Power and Associates Highest in Customer Satisfaction award for bass boats.

During the awards presentation at the Miami International Boat Show, Bass Cat president Rick Pierce said, "It really humbles us to be here among this distinguished group. The real winners are all of our consumers through J.D. Power and Associates."

He credited "the direction of the many business partners and affiliates, from vendors to dealers, and the One Time campaign" as major factors in earning the award. The One Time campaign, which began last year, set the goal of delivering products correctly one time, and handling customer-service one time in one place.

Bass Cat founder Ron Pierce credited "the work force in Mountain Home, Ark." for their ability to "focus on quality, and build a premium product in an ever-changing market."

He then added: "Without the owners and our Bass Cat family, this award could not be achieved. Obviously we had a great amount of support, in all areas, to accomplish this. It really strikes home as something we don't want to ever take for granted, as there is no going up from here."

> Ranger, Champion and Triton, respectively, followed Bass Cat in the bass-boat rankings. According to J.D. Power, "Bass Cat, Ranger and Champion all received a boost from using high-technology, high-horsepower engines."
