This is a Big Bass Tournament. Grand Prize is a 2008 177TR 40th Anniversary Edition Ranger Bass Boat and trailer with Yamaha motor. Prizes are awarded to the top 40 biggest bass of the tournament and cash prizes are awarded to the top 5 biggest bass each hour. Entry fee is $100.

The Beaumont Boys Bash is hosted by Country Music Artists Tracy Byrd, Mark Chesnutt, and Zona Jones. They have teamed together to create a weekend of events to benefit local charities in their hometown of Beaumont, Texas. Proceeds from this year's weekend will benefit Children's Miracle Network, Netcasters Youth Ministries, the Garth House, Boys' and Girls' Haven, and the Humane Society. Children's Miracle Network will use the funds to remodel the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit at CHRISTUS Hospital - St. Elizabeth in Beaumont, Texas.
