Well I tried up a double fluke rig for tomorrow
It's a easy rig to tie up and the bite the last couple of weeks was on Flukes

So who's fished the rig
Did you do better fishing it high on top of the water or deep?

I do like the ideal for 2 fish on the rig

I fished a double slugo and finesse fish rig 25 years ago on Cass lake.... It looked amazing if you rig them with a sliding split ring on your line at two different lengths.

I like fast boats and fishing.. I can do both the same day.

a guy fished our Solo Series on White Lake this summer.  He is a local out there and fished it with white flukes.   He caught quite a few bass by be but they were smaller fish.   Might tie one up for tomorrow on my lake.  Thanks for the reminder

I like the double rig. I don't use it a lot anymore but it used to be really fun on St. Clair. Though I sometimes had problems with break offs when two hot smallies decided to head in different directions at the same time really, really fast! :o

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Dan,
I tried it up like Scott martin shows in the Video
Used a DS reel with #10 braid and tied the leader with #10 fluro
There should be no problems with break offs. The leaders will not pull against each other, you'll pull drag with 2 big fish

The rig looks amazing in the water, my only thought is I need super fluke jr over a single rig
were I use a super fluke.

That is almost like how I rigged mine... I used small split rings instead of swivels. No break offs. 8)

I had one rigged and in my rod box yesterday.  Didn't even think about it until this morning.  The Stevie Rig and Top Water seemed to work good.  At least it is rigged and ready for next time.

djkimmel

I forgot to rig one up. Had the swimbait on that rod I would probably use for it. I rigged mine the same way basically as Scott Martin.

One question - how was he tying Palomar knots on some of those connections without being able to go all the way around the swivel or line/rod/reel??

I've heard good things about this rig. I will have to try it.
