Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Just before the October Natural Resources Committee meeting on Thursday, October 9, Commissioner John Walters added an amendment to Fisheries Order 206 – “Bass - Closed bass CIR season from May 1 – Friday before the third Saturday in June for Burt, Mullet, Crooked, Pickerel, and Black Lakes and their connecting waters.”

Three Resign From Stratos
And Champion Management

Wednesday, February 08, 2006 per BassFan:

Three key members of Stratos and Champion management resigned from their jobs this week, for reasons currently unknown. Gone from the company are former Stratos/Champion president Gary Clouse, Stratos sales director Hank Baker and Stratos/Champion marketing director Teresa Johnson.

That's too bad.

I have met a few of the guys from Stratos, they seem to run a really good company.  It's kind of odd though that three of them resigned at the same time.

thats what i thought..odd, although Stratos/Champion said they were completely suprised, they named a new president almost immediately.  maybe just to keep order in the company..who knows...

It was not disclosed why they left.  Don Wood is the new president, and it's business as usual.  Don has been in the business for twenty plus years, and has been upper management at Genmar for several years.  We wish the best to Gary, and look forward to maintaining our relationship with Stratos. It sounds like there is some exciting stuff for the future.  I will keep you posted.
