I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Johnson Silver Minnows?  Heck, my local Gander Mountain carries them.

And thedude... here's hoping you can't get a single bass on the spoon next summer... but the pike are gonna love you and your "throw my back out" hookset!

yeah i own only a couple of jigging spoons that have sat in my accessory box for years and never used in a loooooong time. but after our club tournament on belleville this past year, i quess maybe they'll be added for this coming year to use. most guys threw/swam a jigging spoon for their fish caught.
i believe when i did try them, always put some kind of plastic trailer on them.
if it feels good - SET THE HOOK!!

I can mention blade baits like crazy - it's okay... no one ever throws them anyway ;D

Sometimes, the hardware is the right tool!!

And sometimes it's not...

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

I can honestly say I've never thrown a jigging spoon for bass.  I don't really consider the Johnson Silver Minnow a true "jigging spoon" I guess... as I did throw them as a younger man.  The only thing I ever use a jigging spoon (hopkins, etc...) for is vertical jigging for whitefish off the wall in Muskegon each fall/early winter.

$20 on ebay  ???
I think I will pull out a few different sizes of spoons from my Dad's ancient tackle box. I'm sure most of us here can go to anyone of the hundreds of garage sales each summer in your neighborhood and buy a tackle box full of old lures and more than likely there will be a few spoons in there.  ;)
