Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Boater CMack and his partners SethV and Seth's young son Luke found a group of roaming bass that wanted to bite nailing down their 5 biggest bass at an impressive 24 pounds 10 ounces with Big Bass of the 2015 MadWags Memorial Members Tournament at a whopping 6 pounds even! I think Luke had a great day from the sounds of things!

dartag and YpsiBass fished the Mile Roads to net 22 pounds 10 ounces and 2nd place. You can read their stories and more in the separate MadWags Memorial stories thread started by dartag. Maybe the real story of the 2015 event this past May 9th was that the weather people screwed the pooch again but this time in our favor as we had some of the nicest weather for a spring Lake St. Clair paper bass tournament ever!

36 total anglers showed up and enjoyed calm enough weather to sightfish at least until 1pm, with the expected rain holding off through the entire event and weigh in cookout except for a few stray drops. Thanks to Team houston for cooking the hot dogs and staceyp for taking pictures since I forgot my camera.
