Selling my 1993 Hideaway 1850 WT 8 1/2' Pickup Camper. Have a newer, bigger one now.

It's narrower than most 8 1/2 footers and lighter so you can haul it on a heavy half ton truck if you don't load it full and haul a really heavy boat or trailer. Does not have air conditioning.

It does have a lot of storage, a bathroom, frigerator, 4-burner stove, extra large 30-pound Propane tank (replaced new a few seasons ago), sink with faucet and upper and lower beds (kitchen table converts to lower bed).

The fridge is tired, but still works. You just need to get it good and cold before you travel by plugging it in early. There's some minor damage to some of the openings from a break-in a few seasons ago - mostly cosmetic only. It can run off your 12V truck system, but will run your battery down if you aren't driving. Just run the frig off gas, and plug it in to AC power otherwise.

I redid the back door innards two seasons ago and added a padlock for extra security when it is stored or I'm out fishing all day. It does have a slight leak under the skin of the overhang that I never found - I keep it covered with a tarp now when not in use (not used since last summer). There's a bypass wire for your truck battery for the driving lights to a toggle switch too because on some trucks, it caused problems with the truck light switch itself getting hot.

No problems ever with the toggle switch - only turns the driving lights on or off. Brake lights, turn signals run off the truck signals.

Asking $400.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
