I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I am going to fish St. Clair this weekend and I need to get my Canadian fishing licence ASAP.  Where is quick and easy place to get it??????  I will be near Metro Beach on the U.S. side.  Help would be greatly appreciated. ???

Call Lake Side Fishing Shop.  If you call them today, they might be able to get it by then.  Otherwise, the Marine City ferry has them (I think).

I just ordered both my Canadian and Walpole Lic. through Lakeside online, apparently in order to fish the TBF event on ST Clair they are requiring you to have both lic. wether you plan on fishing the Canadian side or not.

Am I wrong or does Canadian Bass season not open until 23 June?

I could be remembering wrong though.

bshaner you are correct...canadian bass season doesn't open until the end of this month.  I betch you that they catch a ton of violators on the canadian side that don't know anybetter.

Langer

You are correct, the 4th saturday in June, which is the 23rd

Maybe JL isn't going bass fishing? Didn't specify. We are getting more and different kinds of anglers visiting here so watch those technicalities... they'll get you every time (of course, it helps to post enough info to get a good answer too).

And yes, TBF of Michigan is requiring all licenses for our July 8 state championship - it is a real draw event so even though we are designating boaters and nonboaters, the nonboater still gets half the fishing day and might want to fish Canadian or Walpole water (probably).

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
