Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Quick question. I have my boss coming out from Chicago Wednesday and taking him out bass fishing all of Thursday. Can anyone give me any ideas of hot Mid Michigan lakes right now, where I can keep him busy catching fish. Myself, I'm fine working for them because I know what I'm doing. But he doesn't do much bassin, and of course, I want to make sure I make it a memorable day for him. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Sanford, although Laporte would tell you Belleville...

Its not mid Michigan, but my suggestion would be take him to St. Clair.  The smallmouth are obviously phenomenal, especially this time of year, but if its a slow day, head towards the southern end of the lake and you can catch silver bass non stop.  This would be good for a guy who doesn't bass fish much, and just enjoys catching anything.  The silver bass hit hard, fight hard, and this past weekend, you could practically drag bare line through the water and catch them every cast.
